The thought that turned flowers into a calling

"I didn't want to just sell flowers. I wanted to create moments people would remember."

That's the thought that pulled Ketan away from the roadside stall the family had run for years. He didn't have a business plan or a mentor to guide him, just a belief that flowers, arranged with intention, could turn an ordinary space into something people would stop and feel something about.

Ketan's vision was never about scale for the sake of scale. It was about craftsmanship, treating every hotel lobby, every small function, every wedding venue with the same care, whether it was his first order or his hundredth.

The Evolution of DBK

Every step, every setup, every lesson that shaped who we are today

From a flower stall to Pune's preferred decor name

It all began in 2018-19 with a roadside flower stall, where Ketan and his parents sold bouquets and flowers by hand. From there, Ketan took his first real step forward, creating floral setups for hotel receptions, simple arrangements that quickly got noticed. That recognition opened the door to small event decor, where garlands, centerpieces, and styled vases became part of his growing craft.

The real turning point came with his first full wedding order, a bigger scale, higher stakes, and a moment that brought Divya into the journey as his partner, turning a one-man effort into a shared venture. Every event that followed, whether a success or a hard lesson, sharpened their skill and strengthened their resolve.

Today, that journey has shaped Decor By Ketan into one of Pune's most preferred names in event decor, built not overnight, but through years of hands-on learning, resilience, and commitment.
